About
The coach behind the plan
From stress release to start lines
I studied kinesiology in university and began running as a stress release. After meeting a running group I began racing and quickly raising the bar in distance and discipline. I fell in love with endurance running and triathlons, took triathlon coaching certification classes, and started with youth athletes — then a few friends — and found out the journey with an athlete is the part I love most.

Coaching built around real life
I work very closely with my athletes. I take into account their busy life commitments of work and family life and build custom training plans specifically for them. Real life does not hand you perfect conditions or open weekends — it hands you small windows of time, and sometimes you show up tired anyway. The plan has to fit that life, or the plan is the problem. They decide what they want to do and I help them along the way.
I love working with all athletes. From beginners to well seasoned. They each provide their own unique challenge and joys. It is fun to celebrate the first milestones with new athletes but it is also just as fun to celebrate new personal bests with athletes that have been trying to increase their race times for a significant amount of time.
